The OCRC is committed to providing access to case records and other information in conformity with the requirements of the Ohio Public Records Act (ORC 149.43).
The OCRC has three different types of information relating to charges investigated and processed by the agency. The first type of information concerns data on the types and variety of charges received and investigated by the agency, and how they are eventually closed. The second types of information are the actual records, documents and correspondence generated by the investigation of a charge. The third are the reports and recommendations of the Commission’s Administrative Law Judges on cases which have gone to public hearing. These differing types of information are available to the public, but each is governed by separate procedures and requirements. |
