Lori Taylor is the Regional Director of the Dayton Regional and the Cincinnati Satellite Offices of the Ohio Civil Rights Commission. The region she manages consists of 30 counties, 11 employees including 8 investigators, and processes over 800 cases annually. Lori joined the Commission after serving with the State of Oklahoma investigating civil rights allegations. She has experience in conducting educational training in harassment and cultural diversity.
Lori is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice. She completed her Master’s in Counseling from the University of South Dakota. Lori continues to maintain her licensure as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor through the State of Ohio, and counsels others through volunteer programs and outreach services. She volunteers at a group home serving adults with disabilities and is a certified parenting trainer instructor.
Lori is the proud parent of three children, two residing in Cincinnati and one in Hong Kong, and a boastful grandparent of three youngsters: Ruth, Caleb, and Esther. Currently residing in West Carrollton, Lori thoroughly enjoys traveling, kayaking, watching high school and college sports, and cheering on FC Cincinnati.
